You can see a small dialog box on your computer when a job is done from a mobile device. This works even if you don't have Organilog open on your web browser.

Requirements

This feature uses a modern web browser function, so it doesn't work with all browsers. The supported browsers are:

  • Google Chrome on Windows, Android, Mac OS X and Linux.

  • Firefox on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

  • Coming soon: Safari on Mac OS X.

Turn on notifications

To turn on notifications, go to the web app settings and click the "Labs" tab > Browser notification section. Choose "Yes" for "Enable the notifications" and save.

After saving, a dialogue box will pop up in your web browser (if it is compatible and you have a "Pro" or "Business" account). This box lets you confirm the notifications for the browser. Click "Allow" and follow the steps.

⚡Tip: if you don't see this box, you can click the "Allow on my browser" button in the settings.

See a notification

You need to have the web browser open that has permission to show notifications. Then, a mobile team can make a new job that wasn't in their schedule. When they sync the mobile, your computer will show a dialogue box to tell you about the new job.

⚡Tip: Several users in the same company account can get these notifications. Do this procedure to turn on notifications on other computers.
