Usually, the job system works well for one-day jobs. But sometimes, you may need to visit a client's site more than once and link several jobs together. Organilog's solution gives you several options. You can choose the one that fits your needs best. Here is a brief guide explaining these options.
1/ One job = One visit
To keep track of your visits, it is very convenient to create one job for each visit. Then, you can check the job history for this client to see how many jobs and what details for each visit. You can take pictures to monitor the job's progress at each visit.
💡 Tip: "Job group" module lets you group several jobs under the same name. This way, you can generate only one PDF report for all the jobs. This report can summarize any notes and feedback that you want to give to the client.
2/ Use start and end dates, and comments
You can set an end date for a job, which is different from the start date. However, even if the end date is 2 weeks after the start date, the total time on site may just be 2 hours of work. You can use the comment field to describe the actions or remarks for each visit.
3/ Enter each visit date in a custom field
You can create a custom field with "Multiline text", called "Visit date", to enter each visit precisely. Next to each date, you can add a small comment, to find the history and the details.
