Adding interventions can be time-consuming. We have tried to create several alternative solutions to speed up the entry of interventions, this article presents all the tips for quickly creating interventions.

Creating multiple interventions at once

When creating a new intervention, it is possible to use a feature called Multi creation that will multiply this intervention as many as you wish.

In the example below, an intervention will be created every 2 weeks, up to 10 times, which can be practical to define the interventions of an annual contract.

  • πŸ‘ Advantages: Create dozens of interventions at once. Ability to create rules such as "every 2 weeks".

  • πŸ‘Ž Disadvantages: Require manually deleting or modifying future interventions once created.

Create several interventions in a row

The form for creating an intervention has 2 recording buttons:

The main button, entitled "Save", allows you to create the intervention and then view the intervention.

The second button, "Save and continue", allows you to create the intervention and then re-open a page for adding an intervention by pre-filling all the fields with the data already filled. The button is useful for creating subsequent similar interventions, on the same day and for the same intervention.

πŸ‘ Practical when entering multiple interventions, on the same day.

Pre-fill an intervention from a ticket

The ticket module is ideal for archiving customer requests. When an incident/request is reported through this module, it is common to have to create an intervention to solve the problem for the customer. A small button located at the top right allows you to create an intervention with the same information as the ticket. It only remains to define the planned date of passage.

πŸ‘ Saving time when an intervention is required from a ticket.

Duplicate an existing intervention

It is quite common to have similar interventions. You can then save time when creating a new intervention by creating/ using an existing intervention template, to duplicate it and only modify the date, the name of the customer, and some other minor information. The "Duplicate" button is available on any intervention.

  • πŸ‘ Advantages: Quickly create a similar intervention.

  • πŸ‘Ž Disadvantages: Only duplicates one intervention at a time.

Intervention recurrence feature

Finally, the"Create a recurrence" feature is available for any existing intervention. This makes it possible to plan the creation of a new intervention at specific intervals, for example, every week, every month, or every year.

Select an existing intervention > Create a recurrence:

  • πŸ‘ Advantages: Preferred solution if there is no end date. Ability to modify the intervention that serves as a reference to modify all future interventions that will be created each time. If the contract ends, just remove the recurrence.

To find out more, a guide has been put in place to learn how to use this tool: Create a recurring intervention.
