Within a company, it sometimes happens that there are two very different activities. Activity types allow you to customize intervention orders and reports and also to separate distinct activities when you have several businesses or activities in the same Organilog account.

Demo video: To be updated.

Activity types can be renamed using the terminologies as:

  • Subsidiary

  • Agency

  • Branch

  • Sector

  • Region

  • Zone

  • Company

  • Franchise

  • Activity

  • Department

Activity types work primarily with Custom fields and Action routines. You link a field or action to an Activity type, and when you select that Activity type in an intervention. You will have access to the items that are associated with that activity type.

How to use this feature

Step 1: Enable Activity types feature

To manage your activities via the "Activity types" module you have to activate the module.

To do this, you need to go to Settings ⚙️ 🡆 Modules 🡆 Activity types module 🡆 Enable 🡆 Save the changes

Step 2: Configure an activity type

Once the activity type management module is enabled, you need to configure it.

Go to the Settings ⚙️ 🡆 Activity types.

On this page, you can find all the activities you have created.

To add a new one, click on the "Add activity type" button at the top left.

Step 3: Make use of the activity types

You can use this module in different ways.

The first way is intervention management. You can determine for which activity/ company/ agency/ subsidiary this intervention is assigned.

You can now determine a list of action routines specific to an activity.

And also custom fields.

You can also determine whether a customer or employee belongs to a particular activity. This will allow you to differentiate between them when using Organilog.

Finally, it will be possible, when editing an invoice, to define which activity invoices your customer. Filtering your quotes and invoices will be easier.

The utilization of activities provides convenience and customization of Organilog. It also allows you to get statistics specific to each activity of your company.
